Friday: BRAVE

Day 5

Scripture:

1 Peter 3:15 “but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect,”

Devotional:  Now it’s time to put it ALL TOGETHER.  You’ve got your BEFORE Christ. You’ve got your SALVATION EXPERIENCE. And you’ve got your AFTER Christ.  Why is this so important?  It’s important to me and it’s important to our church because it’s important to God based on what God’s Word says. “Always be prepared to make a defense.” You don’t have to be a lawyer to know the Good News. One of the best ways to start is by getting your own Gospel Story down. Your story might reach someone that I can’t reach. And the stories of others will reach people that you can’t reach. I can’t wait to see what it will look like when we combined ALL OUR STORIES TOGETHER.  Check out these songs about sharing YOUR story.  And just for fun, have a laugh at little Tyler Perstrope also singing “My Story” from 5th grade.
