Day 1: Your God Story Has a Purpose
BIG IDEA: God has assigned us all to THIS TIME and THIS PLACE for the PURPOSE of sharing the GOOD NEWS.
Scripture: Acts 1:8-9
"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight."
Devotional:
In this passage, Jesus makes it clear to His disciples that they are entrusted with a significant mission—to be His witnesses. This task is not dependent on their strength but is empowered by the Holy Spirit. The scope of their mission is expansive, covering local, regional, and global outreach. Just like the disciples, God has appointed us to share His good news in our respective environments.
Action Step: Identify one person in your immediate community whom you can share the message of Jesus with this week.
Prayer Prompt: Lord, equip me with the courage and wisdom to be Your witness in my community, and guide me to the person You want me to reach out to this week.
