Day 6: Living Out the Good News

BIG IDEA:  God has assigned us all to THIS TIME and THIS PLACE for the PURPOSE of sharing the GOOD NEWS.  

Scripture: Matthew 5:14-16 

"You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."

Devotional:  

Jesus calls us to be the light of the world, openly displaying our faith through good deeds. Our actions should point others toward God, illuminating His love and grace. By living out the good news daily, we fulfill our role as His representatives on earth.

Action Step: Perform a random act of kindness for someone today, demonstrating God’s love through your deeds.

Prayer Prompt: Jesus, help me to be a beacon of Your light in a dark world. May my actions reflect Your love, drawing others closer to You.
