Scripture Reference: Hebrews 10:35-39
"Therefore do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God you may receive what is promised. For, 'Yet a little while, and the coming one will come and will not delay; but my righteous one shall live by faith, and if he shrinks back, my soul has no pleasure in him.' But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who have faith and preserve their souls."
Charlie Kirk: "Endurance doesn’t just happen overnight. It’s built step-by-step, through faith, perseverance, and the promises of God."
Reflection:
Perseverance is a key characteristic of faith. This passage in Hebrews encourages believers not to throw away their confidence and to patiently endure in doing God's will. Understanding that life’s challenges are temporary, but God’s promises are eternal, provides the hope and motivation needed to remain steadfast.
God has called us to an enduring faith that does not shrink back in fear. By remembering the faithfulness of God and His promises, we cling to the hope of future glory. Investing in an eternal perspective helps us navigate the trials on earth with hope and courage.
Call to Action: Strengthen your endurance by setting aside time daily to read God's Word and pray. Share this journey with a trusted friend for mutual accountability and support.
Call to Prayer: Father, sustain my faith with Your promises and help me to endure in confidence and hope. Lead me to live each day with an eternal perspective. Amen.
