Ephesians 1:3-9 “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love he predestined us for adoption to himself as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will, to the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved. In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace, which he lavished upon us, in all wisdom and insight making known to us the mystery of his will, according to his purpose, which he set forth in Christ”

In Christ, we have received every spiritual blessing. Ephesians 1:3 reminds us of the abundance of blessings God has already bestowed upon us through Jesus. Elisha’s story is a testament to those who choose to seek and follow God’s rich blessings over their desires.

These blessings are not just material but spiritual and eternal, encompassing peace, joy, and fulfillment in Him. As Elisha humbly asked for a double portion and received it, we are reminded that God is willing and able to provide abundantly beyond our requests and understanding.

Acknowledging and embracing the blessings in Christ shifts our perspective from temporal struggles to eternal hope. Holding on to His promises encourages us to seek first His kingdom, trusting that everything else will be added to us.

Action Step: Reflect on the spiritual blessings God has given you and write a prayer of gratitude. Focus on seeking God’s kingdom above all else.

Prayer:Gracious Father, thank You for the rich blessings we receive in Christ. Open my eyes to appreciate and use these blessings for Your glory. Help me to live with a heart of gratitude and seek Your kingdom in all I do. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
