Saturday: Hope for a New Legacy

BIG IDEA: A DISTRACTED LIFE TODAY WILL DAMAGE THE LIVES OF TOMORROW.

Scripture Passage: 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NIV)   "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!"

In Christ, the opportunity for a new beginning is always available. We are not bound by past mistakes or legacies of sin but are offered the chance to start afresh. This transformation affects not only our lives but also the lives of those who come after us.

According to this verse, the old has GONE!!!  Goodbye old!  Hello new!  Creating a new legacy begins with embracing our identity in Christ. As new creations, we carry His transformative power, able to break patterns of sin and establish a heritage of faith, love, and righteousness that positively influences future generations.

Jesus provides the hope and strength to reshape our lives and legacies. He redeems what was once broken, turning it into a powerful testimony of His grace. In Him, we find the courage to forge a new path that honors God and inspires others.

Action Step: Reflect on the legacy you want to leave. Write down specific ways you can live out your new identity in Christ and impact future generations.

Prayer:   Lord, thank You for making me a new creation in Christ. Help me to live out this identity daily and leave a legacy that glorifies You. Guide me as I influence others, shaping lives for Your kingdom. Amen.
