Day 4: The Power of Your Personal Testimony

BIG IDEA:  God has assigned us all to THIS TIME and THIS PLACE for the PURPOSE of sharing the GOOD NEWS.  

Scripture: 1 Peter 3:15 (NIV)

"But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect."

Devotional:  

Peter reminds us of the importance of preparedness in sharing our faith. We are encouraged to live our lives in such a way that others notice our hope and ask about it. Sharing our testimony with gentleness and respect is a powerful way to introduce others to the hope we have in Christ. If you’ve got breath in your lungs, God has a story for you to tell today!!! 

Action Step: Write out your testimony, focusing on how your faith has given you hope and direction in life.

Prayer Prompt: Dear God, help me to live out my faith authentically and to share my testimony with gentleness and respect, so that others might see Your hope through me.
