BIG IDEA: Wise and Godly leaders that can work as a team and trust in God above stuff will always get what they need.
Scripture Reading: Philippians 4:6-7 - "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
Reflection: Anxiety and Worry defines the lives of so many people. It has a way of taking over and manifesting itself into every part of our lives. It’s important that we realize that God never wanted us to walk around carrying anxiety. He wants us to walk in PEACE through TRUST.
Peace is not a product of circumstances but a result of trust in God. Philippians 4 assures us that when we bring our concerns to God, His peace, which transcends all understanding, will guard our hearts. Solomon’s peace during his reign wasn’t just political; it was rooted in divine wisdom and trust. In contrast, accumulating resources out of fear or doubt invites anxiety. True peace comes when we seek God’s guidance above all else and rest in His sovereign care.
Action Step: Spend time in prayer, presenting your anxieties to God and asking Him to fill your life with His peace. Practice gratitude by listing things you’re thankful for each day.
