Day 2: Big Idea: The accuser calls us idiots. God calls us BRAVE.
Scripture: Acts 3:11-13
"While the man held on to Peter and John, all the people were astonished and came running to them in the place called Solomon’s Colonnade. When Peter saw this, he said to them: 'Fellow Israelites, why does this surprise you? Why do you stare at us as if by our own power or godliness we had made this man walk? The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified his servant Jesus. You handed him over to be killed, and you disowned him before Pilate, though he had decided to let him go.'"
Following the healing, Peter seized the opportunity to redirect the crowd's awe toward the source of the miracle—Jesus Christ. This situation could have easily turned into a platform for self-promotion, but Peter used it to glorify God and make Jesus known. His response reflects a level of bravery and clarity in understanding the purpose behind the miracle, as well as a strong conviction to witness about Jesus.
We should be ready to share the reason for our hope and faith, especially when God's power is evident in our lives. By aligning our success and breakthroughs with God's glory, we bear witness to others of His reality and love.
ACTION: When someone acknowledges something good in your life today, give credit to God, and briefly share how your faith plays a role in your life.
Prayer Prompt: "Lord, grant me the courage and wisdom to point others to You in moments of success and blessing. Let me not seek my own glory, but Yours."
