Wednesday: BRAVE

Day 3: Big Idea: The accuser calls us idiots. God calls us BRAVE.

Scripture: Acts 3:16, 19

"By faith in the name of Jesus, this man whom you see and know was made strong. It is Jesus’ name and the faith that comes through him that has completely healed him, as you can all see." "Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord."

Peter emphasized that it was God’s power and faith in Jesus that facilitated the miraculous healing. He communicated that the transformation offered through Christ was both physical and spiritual, emphasizing the need for repentance to experience God's full refreshing presence. This demonstrates the holistic impact of faith in Jesus, addressing both eternal and immediate needs.

This story should challenge all of us in our expectation of what God can do through faith. Our faith is not only about personal salvation; it transforms every area of our lives, inviting us to live in a continual state of repentance and renewal. Recognizing this offers us and others around us continuous opportunities for redirection towards God's purposes.

ACTION:   Reflect on areas in your life needing repentance and invite God's refreshing presence to bring change today.

Prayer Prompt: "Father, thank You for Your grace that leads to true transformation. Reveal any areas in my life in need of repentance, and refresh me with Your Spirit."
