Reading Time: 2 Minutes
Reading:
Hebrews 10:24-25
“And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together…”
Galatians 6:2
“Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.”
Devotional:
One of the most dangerous things we do when struggling spiritually is isolate ourselves.
When our hearts feel overwhelmed, ashamed, hurt, anxious, or exhausted, our natural instinct is often to pull away from God and from people. But isolation rarely heals heart problems. Usually, it deepens them.
God designed us for connection.
Healing often happens through honest conversations, prayer, encouragement, accountability, worship, and community. The enemy wants us hidden because isolated hearts become vulnerable hearts.
You don’t have to pretend everything is fine. You don’t have to carry everything alone. Some of the strongest moments of healing begin when we finally let someone in.
Reflection Questions:
Have you been withdrawing from God or people lately?
What would it look like to lean into healthy connection instead of isolation?
Response:
Reach out to someone you trust today. Ask for prayer, start an honest conversation, or simply let someone know what you’ve been carrying.
