THURSDAY: God Works Behind the Scenes

Big Idea:

Remembering God for what He’s done and what He’s doing brings the blessing.  Forgetting God brings the CRUMBLE.

Reading:

Esther 4:14

“For if you keep silent at this time, relief and deliverance will rise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. And who knows whether you have not come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”

Romans 8:28-31

“And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. For those whom he foreknew, he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified. What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?”

Devotional:

During Judah's darkest hour—captivity, destruction, exile—God strategically positioned His people. Daniel in Babylon's government. Ezekiel among the exiles. Jeremiah in Jerusalem. When everything seemed to be falling apart, God was orchestrating redemption behind the scenes.

You may be in a season where nothing makes sense. The diagnosis is grim. The relationship is broken. The finances are dire. But God is working in ways you cannot see. He's arranging people, circumstances, and timing for your good and His glory.

Reflection:

Trust isn't needed when you can see everything clearly; it's required when the path is dark.

Response:

Today, declare: "God is working even when I cannot see it." Your current chapter isn't the end of the story.
