FRIDAY: Leading Others to Revival

Big Idea:
The Remedy to a crumbling soul is revival. The roadmap to Revival is to Turn to the Lord, Kill the Sin, and Follow the Word.
Reading:
2 Kings 23:1–3 (ESV)
1 Then the king sent, and all the elders of Judah and Jerusalem were gathered to him.2 And the king went up to the house of the LORD, and with him all the men of Judah and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem and the priests and the prophets, all the people, both small and great. And he read in their hearing all the words of the Book of the Covenant that had been found in the house of the LORD.3 And the king stood by the pillar and made a covenant before the LORD, to walk after the LORD and to keep his commandments and his testimonies and his statutes with all his heart and all his soul, to perform the words of this covenant that were written in this book. And all the people joined in the covenant.
Devotional:
Josiah's personal revival didn't stay personal. He gathered all the people—from the greatest to the least—and read God's Word to them. He led an entire nation back to the Lord. When God changes your life, it's never just for your benefit. You are transformed to impact everyone around you. Your family needs to see your faith. Your workplace needs to witness your integrity. Your community needs to experience your love.
Revival begins with one person turning to the Lord, killing the sin, and following the Word—but it spreads when that person leads others to do the same. Who in your sphere of influence needs to hear about what God has done in your life? Don't keep your faith in a box. Let it overflow into every relationship and every corner of your world.
Reflection:
Make a quick list of the key circles in your life: family, friends, church, school, work, online presence. Where is God nudging you to be more intentional?
Response:
Maybe it’s starting prayer with your spouse, inviting a coworker to church, sharing your testimony with a friend, or leading a short Bible study. Ask the Lord, “Who do You want me to influence for You this week?” Then choose one simple, specific step of obedience and put it on your calendar or to-do list so it doesn’t stay just a good idea.
