Thursday: Renewing Your Mind in a Noisy World
- Feb 12
- 1 min read
Scripture: Romans 12:1–2 "I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. 2 Do not be conformed to this world,[c] but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect."
Devotional Excerpt: Culture is loud—and relentless. It constantly tells us what to think, value, and prioritize. But God calls His people to be transformed, not conformed. When we seek Him first, we allow His Word to shape our convictions instead of absorbing every trending opinion. Before reacting, posting, debating, or deciding, believers are called to pause and ask: Does this reflect Christ?
Reflection: What voices influence you most—God’s Word or the world around you?
Action: Limit your media intake today and replace it with Scripture. Read Romans 12 slowly and ask God to renew your thinking.
Prayer: Jesus, guard my heart and mind. Help me value Your truth over cultural approval. I want my life to reflect You clearly. Amen.
